About Sabine County, TX
Sabine County, TX lies along Louisiana-Texas border river near Beaumont and its estimated 2019 population according to census data was 10,664 making it the 219th most populous county located hereabouts. Its county seat is Hemphill but other cities include Bronson & Milam whilst Hemphill itself equates out to Sabine’s largest town aside from aforesaid county seat. This area had been created out of parts of Shelby & Jasper Counties back in 1837 when local residents petitioned for new administrative boundaries - posthumously named after Sabine River thanks Spanish explorer Alonso Ávalos who explored this region early 16th century onwards.
