About Presidio County, TX
Presidio County, TX lies on the West Texas-Mexico border river with an estimated population according to 2019 census data standing at 8,114 – one of least populated counties hereabouts due to major desert regions which make up much of this area. Its county seat is Marfa with other towns including Presidio & Redford whilst Marfa serves as Presidio’s biggest city aside from mentionable county seat. Presidio County had been created out of Jeff Davis & Brewster Counties back in 1871 – posthumously named after Spanish fortification built by early settlers for much needed protection just 2 decades prior.
