if you want to know anything about ogden then first off you should know our mayor is a slum lord and the rental housing conditions are some of the worst in the country. also if you don't speak spanish don't leave washington blvd. alone at night!
this city is plagued with crystal meth and sends more adult males to prison than all other counties in ut (although the population is much smaller).
also the sex offender population here is absolutely out of control. a local church with much power disagrees with a need for law enforcement in cases of incest, sexual abuse, date rape, rape, polygamy etc. etc.
this results in the rape rate in my city being insane. to this day i do not know one female who lives in the metro area who has yet to be raped. even jack keroack new of ogden as a place for the transeints of america to meet up and regroup. and even now the city has a tremendous amount of transeints just passing through. i have lived here my whole life and i've left many times only to be sucked back by the vacum of this terrible, terrible place.
