Review of Denver, Colorado

Watch a horror movie instead
Star Rating - 8/31/2012
The downtown area of Denver feels like the set of a Stephen King movie. Denver exhibits a strange oxymoron of a metro area/ghost town. It exudes a certain feeling of being "lost" and this feeling creeps down into your soul as you walk around. Don’t believe the hype. There is no cosmopolitan feel here. Unless you are moving here from Price, Utah.

I've lived here for a month. I can see why people stay inside their homes and get really, really high. They have to lose themselves in fantasy - take themselves out of reality in order to survive. I regret moving here... not to mention the fact that their is an obvious paradigm of patriarchy. Men seem to feel free to relentlessly gawk at women who act sheepishly passive.

I can't wait to return to NYC.
