As a 50 year plus native, I must agree! Denver is not what it once was and for better or worse is just another large, sprawling and somewhat overcrowded metropolitan area! Sad and a bit maddening! I call it now a mini L.A. and if not for the great weather and outdoors, ( if you avoid the I70 corridor ) it would be worse than Los Angeles. I will be retiring soon to another state and smaller town, and while it will be sad to leave my "home" it will be nice to be out of the slow spoilage of the Denver Area! I'll be glad to leave that to the hipsters and transplants and pot heads that have ruined it!
